Emotional Contagion and Its Relationship to Psychological Reassurance among Students of the Boarding Departments at the University Of Baghdad
Abstract
The current study aimed to identify emotional contagion and its relationship to immediate psychological reassurance among students of internal departments at the University of Baghdad, by creating a construct of (150) final students. Descriptive and correlational innovation were used, and two scales were used: the emotional contagion scale, which consists of (18) items and a scale. Psychological reassurance consists of (13) paragraphs, and I was able to reach the level of emotional contagion at the Bulgaria Arithmetic Summit (56.44) The level of psychological reassurance is also high, as the arithmetic mean reached (49.32). The current study indicated that there is a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the sample members in emotional contagion according to gender, in favor of males, and in psychological reassurance, in favor of males, and not There is a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) Among the sample members in emotional contagion according to the academic specialization, and the presence of a statistically significant difference between the arithmetic means of the individuals’ answers according to the specializations (scientific, humanitarian) regarding psychological reassurance and in favor of the humanitarian specialization, and the existence of an inverse correlation between emotional contagion and psychological reassurance, The study concluded with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is working to support and intensify the efforts of specialists in the field of psychology and psychological counseling at the University of Baghdad to develop the field of emotional intelligence among our students for the purpose of reducing emotional contagion and transforming it into production and energy. As for the most important proposals, conducting other correlational studies on the concepts of emotional contagion and psychological reassurance. With other variables.
