The artistic construction of children's stories "Aya and Hikaya series as a model
Abstract
Children's stories are among the most prominent means that contribute to shaping the intellectual and emotional world of children, as they offer them, through artistic components, a set of values, ethics, and cognitive skills. In this context, understanding the artistic structure of these stories is one of the most important aspects to be studied. This research focuses on an artistic study of the components of the story presented to children in the "Aya and Hekaya" series, aiming to highlight the artistic phenomena in children's stories. By artistic components of a children's story, we mean: (narration, characters, plot, and the temporal and spatial setting), as well as the alignment of these components with the child's cognitive level. The "Aya and Hekaya" story series is considered one of the literary works that can be analyzed to understand how a children's story is constructed in terms of these components.
