Emotion management and its relationship to emotional creativity among students of the College of Education

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify (the management of emotions and its relationship to the emotional creativity of students of the Faculty of Education), and the current research aimed to identify:

1- The level of emotions management among the students of the College of Education.

2- The difference in emotion management for students of the College of Education according to the gender variable (male - female)

3- Measuring the emotional creativity of students of the College of Educati

4- The difference in emotional creativity among students of the College of Education according to the gender variable (male - female), and to that end, the researchers relied on two measures (Hussein 2013) for emotional management and a scale (Omar and Zidan 2014) for emotional creativity, after confirming the psychometric properties of the two standards, and after confirming Their suitability for the research community The two standards were applied to the research sample consisting of (100) male and female students from Al-Qadisiyah University for the year 2018-2019 and for the morning study, the results showed the following:

- University students do not have the ability to manage their emotions.

- There were no statistically significant differences in the management of emotions among students according to the gender variable.

- Students enjoy high emotional creativity.

- There were no statistically significant differences in the emotional creativity of students according to the gender variable.
