The revolution of July 23, 1952 AD in Egypt, a study of the causes and motives
Abstract
The post-World War II era was marked by the increasing role of the army in the events that occurred in the Arab region, as it became the initiator of the coups events and the change of political systems in this and that region.
The most prominent of these events is the revolution of July 23, 1952 AD in Egypt, as Egypt was prepared for the revolution for a set of subjective and objective factors whose details will be discussed in the research folds, as the historical period that followed in 1951 was full of political changes in which the armed struggle in the Canal Zone against the British began after the abolition of the 1936 treaty. On the part of the government of the delegation, just as the government of the delegation was sacked after the Cairo fire on July 27, 1951 AD, when the masses realized that this situation was planned in order to spoil the battle of the Channel and force the guerrilla action to stop their attacks against the British, all this made it necessary for the Egyptians to resort to Work to get rid of that Foreign control and independence.
The Free Officers in Egypt succeeded in leading the revolution against the monarchy in Egypt on July 23, 1952 AD, as it was considered the height of the national tide in the struggle of the Egyptian people against colonialism, and this national movement became a center of attraction for all revolutionary movements in Asia and Africa and a pioneer of the struggle of the sons of the Arab nation in All their countries, as Egypt in that historical period was not the only country that was suffering from the deterioration of public conditions and subject to colonial control, but the Arab countries, most of which were suffering from the same deteriorating conditions, which eventually led the national powers throughout the Arab world to escalate the struggle for liberationAnd independence, therefore, the division of research into several axes came, namely the reasons, achievements and results in order to shed light on this important event in a way that enables those interested in following political developments to know the magnitude of the injustice and pain suffered by the Egyptian society over the years in which its rule is punished by those who are not children Egypt originally.
