The Social Motivation in the Poetry of Kathir Izza and Al-Abbas bin Al-Ahnaf (A Balancing Study)
Abstract
Poetry has inevitable motives, whether material or moral. This research
revolves around the social motive for saying poetry by two prominent Arabic poets,
namely Katheer Azza and Al-Abbas bin Al-Ahnaf, then balancing them to know the
poetic direction of each of them and the reasons for that, by reading and analyzing
their poetry.
