Abstract

These studies come within the studies of intermediate sciences, and they are here between the sciences of fundamentals of jurisprudence, the Arabic language, and Arabic poetry, since poetry is the record of transmitting language and its sciences. Of weight and rhyme in Arabic poetry.

The study aimed at the following objectives:

1- Demonstrating the interest of fundamentalists in Arabic poetry as a major source for the classical Arabic language in its grammar and vocabulary.

2- Explaining the role of the science of jurisprudence in preserving and preserving the Arabic language by including linguistic investigations and citing poetry in inferences, evidence, and others.

3- Explanation of the importance of poetry in preserving the Arabic language - which is the language of composition and eloquence - for the meanings and indications of the legal rulings that the fundamentalists meant.

4- Mentioning examples of fundamentalist poets and their types of poetry, and explaining the artistic value of their poetry.

5- Explaining some of the fundamentalist purposes of citing poetry in their fundamentalist books and writings.

The study concluded the following results:

1- Among the fundamentalist jurists who combined the sciences of Sharia and the science of the Arabic language, such as Imam Al-Shafi’i, Imam Ibn Hazm Al-Zahiri and Ibn Hisham.

2- Some critics claimed that the poetry of the fundamentalists is poetry that is devoid of artistic value, emotion and imagination, and the truth is that the poetry of the fundamentalists is poetry that reflects the artistic value that includes judgment and meanings that are desirable in law and of course.

3 - One of the fundamentalist jurists who composed poetry and excelled in it, and critics and authors in literature could not help but acknowledge their poetry.

4- Fundamentalists benefited from the systems of Arabic poetry in the educational systems of texts through meter and rhyme.

5- The lesson in poetry is the presence of the poetic faculty, whether its speaker is a jurist or someone else.

6- The systems of fundamentalist texts, as it was for the purpose of education, are also not devoid of literary work and artistic expression.
