The role of mass communication in cultural change (A field study in the city of Diwaniyah)
Abstract
This study aim to try to know the role of mass communication in cultural change ,This study used the descriptive analytical approach,The questionnaire was used as atool for this study ,where the sample consisted of anumber (50) researched (35)mal (15) females ,This study has been summarized in to several results, most notably:The influence of thevalues of the old society has diminished on the modem segminished on the modern segments of socity that are open to new culturs in addition to the occurrence of changes and changes due to the phenomenon of globalization represented in the disapeeqrance of family and social conhesion among some segments of society.
